IMPORTANT - Anyone, including riders, grooms, officials and volunteers that are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone displaying symptoms in the last fourteen days MUST NOT attend any show. Please contact 07889112161 with any queries on the day.
On arrival all vehicles will be checked at the entrance point. No admittance to anyone not on the start list. No exceptions. Face masks are to be worn in and around the stable area or any other parts of the premises where social distancing is difficult to maintain. Riders may be accompanied by one other person/groom, and one additional person for every additional horse entered. One owner per horse is permitted, unless arriving as a family from the same household or bubble. A parking attendant will allocate a parking pitch. All tacking up and preparation of horses must take place within your designated parking areas. Only visit the secretary if absolutely necessary - all information will be sent in your rider pack via email. If you do need to visit the secretary please adhere to the social distancing regulations. If it is a simple question please send a Whatsapp message or ask at the stable manager's office. Hand sanitiser will be available at key contact points. Catering will be available for takeaway service at most venues. Toilets will have enhanced/hand sanitiser/soap. Please only visit the secretary office only if absolutely necessary, all information will be sent via email pack. Warm up fences will be managed in accordance with each venue's Covid19 policies. Face masks to be worn by anyone standing in the warm up arenas.
The Coldstream 4, 5 & 6yr old Show Jumping class for young horses at Hickstead will be judged under BS single phase, with a short timed section at the same height based on Style & Performance by our expert Grand Prix judges. The Coldstream 7yr old Showjumping class for young horses will be judged under BS single phase, there is no Style & Performance mark.
To qualify horses must jump 2 clear rounds at: 4yr olds - 1.0m BS, or above (or country equivalent) 5yr olds - 1.10m BS, or above (or country equivalent) 6yr olds - 1.20m BS, or above (or country equivalent) 7yr olds - 1.30m BS, or above (or country equivalent)
At Hickstead: 4yr olds will jump a course up to 1.00m with two fences at 1.05. Speed - 325m per min 5yr olds will jump a course up to 1.10m with two fences at 1.15. Speed - 325m per min 6yr olds will jump a course up to 1.20 -1.25m Speed - 350m per min 7yr olds will jump a Single Phase Course 1.30 -1.35m - 375m per min (will not be judged on style & performance)
All jumping will be jumped on a surface.
